General Classes

Classes are designed to meet the needs of each participant, to listen to the body and work with it to stretch, release tension, unwind, and restore balance. The poses are rejuvenating and accessible for those new to yoga or experienced in a practise. The class is time to pause, be at peace, breathe and reduce stress and honours the spirit of yoga.

Kids Yoga (8-12 years)

  • Thursdays during school terms
  • 4-5pm
  • 1 hour
  • $130 for 10 classes & $17 per class casual

"Bella has attended Trans Genesis childrens yoga classes for 2 years. Trans Genesis has a fun and innovative method of introducing Bella to yoga practice. Yoga has benefited Bella in many ways with improvement noted in her motor coordination and social skills. I know after class I 've had a more relaxed child. " 

Yoga for Kids classes are creative and fun and a great way to build self-esteem and self-trust. Establishing a fit and healthy lifestyle starts from a young age and Yoga can be effective for this lifestyle.

"When I first started doing yoga  I had upper back pain, severe lower back pain and plantar fasciitis in my left foot.  At that time I was attending a chiropractor, a physiotherapist and reflexologist, and although the exercises they gave me to do helped a little bit, I was still in a lot of pain. I refused to take any medication other then natural supplements.   I noticed a difference as soon as I started yoga classes, particularly in my back.  I seemed to get a bit better each week; my back was getting stronger again.  I found the more classes I did each week, the stronger I got.  Now, after four months, I have no back pain and very little pain in my foot.  I can lift up my little two year old grandson without being in agony.  I also feel happier, stronger and have more energy than I have in years.  My husband and family are delighted because I'm back to being my old self again.  They can see the change in me because I don't need to keep going for a lie down every few hours just to alleviate the pain.  I thoroughly enjoy my yoga classes, I like the variety in the poses and the length of the class.  It's just perfect for me.  Thank you for all your help.
