I fell in love with Yoga over 15 years ago and have been teaching yoga since graduating from Patti's teacher training in 2016. The multitude of benefits I receive from regular yoga practice is what makes me love it - not only the physical release from stretching and moving my body, but the mental benefits, the feeling of calm, peace and mental strength I get after practice. I have experience in teaching different styles of yoga and have completed extra teacher training in Yin Yoga, Kids & Teens Yoga as well as numerous workshops on breathing techniques and movement patterns. I also have qualifications in teaching matwork pilates. My classes at Trans Genesis have a focus on making yoga accessible for all, making them suitable for beginners and also those who have a regular practice. I incorporate gentle stretching movements with the breath to warm up before moving onto a flow sequence and usually finish with a peak pose. No 2 bodies are the same, I always make sure to cater for those who need extra support by offering them different options and guidance. We finish the class with a beautiful guided relaxation to leave you feeling grounded, centered and ready to face the day :)
