This is a 110 plus hour, Level 1 Meditation Facilitator Training delivered over six months. It is designed to be relevant to modern day life and to meet and embrace modern day alchemy in the new spirit of meditation and synthesis. This training combines both the theory, practical and ethical skills which will enable you to professionally facilitate meditation classes for one-on-one and groups sessions.

In addition to learning to facilitate meditation, this course has a unique focus on personal and spiritual development supporting you to build and strengthen your vital foundation as a meditation facilitator.

This course was created in collaboration with Tanya Servaas and Lorraine Town (between us we have at least 100 years of teaching experience) who each bring their experience and wisdom to offer you comprehensive, heart-based training that will greatly enhance your own practice and that of those you feel inspired to teach.

Tanya Servaas

Tanya has more than 20 years experience in meditation and facilitation and is a qualified mentor and coach.
Learning how to meditate was a turning point in her life. At the time, she was a single mum, working part-time and studying full-time and was quite stressed. A medical doctor encouraged her to take up meditation as a strategy to deal with her stress. She has not looked back and has participated in extensive and varied meditation training to refine her meditation practices.  Tanya shares "meditation enables you to still the mind and heal the wounded aspects of yourself so that you are able to be more present, in your heart and you can then respond to life."

Tanya has found teaching others to meditate very rewarding because she is able to share with participants something that she loves, which has helped her over the years.  Working extensively in public relations, marketing and events management in the private and public sectors she has been able to share this experience with participants and mentoring students wanting to promote their products and services.

Tanya has a Graduate Certificate in Management, BA in Social Sciences, Certificate IV in Analytical Psychotherapy; Mentoring and Coaching; and Training and Assessment and is currently completing a Master in Counseling and Psychotherapy.

Lorraine Town

Since moving to Perth, Lorraine has managed a Curves women's fitness centre and recently, after five years, retired from the position of Trainer and Assessor for the Global Coaching Academy. She has also served as the Professional Development Coordinator for the International Coach Federation for two years and as Mentoring supervisor for Northern Lights Toastmasters.

Lorraine has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV and Advanced Practitioner Certificate in Mentoring and Life Coaching. She is also a Member of the International Coach Federation and is a Licensed 'Print' facilitator (Psychological evaluation tool).
