Prenatal yoga 5weeks course

Pregnancy yoga classes are a specially designed form of yoga adapted from traditional yoga poses to make it safe throughout pregnancy. These gentle, nurturing classes help expectant mums to be prepared for labor and childbirth physically, mentally and emotionally. Practicing yoga during pregnancy can give you the energy to enjoy pregnancy, the serenity to build a deeper intimacy with baby and the presence of mind to be fully present for the wonder of birth.

Classes include:

  • Yogic breathing practice – reduce or manage shortness of breath during pregnancy and work through contractions during labor.
  • Gentle stretches and strength building exercises – deepen body awareness, maintain stamina and energy and relieve common pregnancy discomforts.
  • Relaxation & meditation – relieve anxiety and stress, deepen the bond to your baby and bring greater peace of mind.

Commencing: Saturday 10:30am ~11:30am Saturday  5 May ~ 2 June (5-week block, reoccurring every 5 weeks)

Please note: Pregnancy yoga classes run as a 5-week course however casual attendance is available for mums-to-be over 35-weeks who have completed a previous course. If you feel unwell or need to miss a class, you can make up the class by attending another prenatal class in the next course. If you know in advance that you will not attend full 5 classes, please contact us. No refunds are available once the course starts.
